However, we will obtain your consent before sharing it with affiliates or shareholders. Through various analysis tools, we can evaluate user data and analyze user behavior. Cookies help to make visiting the imatrix.ai website easier, more pleasant and more useful. They are information files that are automatically stored on the computer’s hard drive by the web browser when the customer visits the imatrix.ai website and makes use of services. The customer has the possibility to manage the security settings of his browser and thereby block or disable cookies. However, this may prevent the full use of certain imatrix.ai services.
Tracking and analysis tools / social media
In order to measure and evaluate the use of the digital offerings of imatrix.ai, various technical systems are used, mainly from third-party providers such as Google Analytics. These measurements can be carried out anonymously or on a person-specific basis. It is possible that the collected data will be passed on to third parties in Switzerland and abroad by imatrix.ai or the third-party providers of such technical systems. The best-known and most frequently used analysis tool is Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Inc. In this context, the data collected may in principle be transferred to a Google server in the USA or to another location specified by Google and stored there.
Finally, imatrix.ai collects certain information about its website in server log files that are automatically transmitted by the customer’s Internet browser. This information includes the user agent (browser type and version, operating system used), HTTP header data (referrer URL, IP address of the accessing computer), time of server request and login status. These server log files are only used for error analysis together with other data sources.
Data collection and analysis for advertising purposes
The Provider’s website uses the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. Google Inc., located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”), is the provider.
The function makes it possible to link the advertising target groups created by Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. This allows interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been customized on the basis of the customer’s previous usage and surfing behavior on one end device (e.g., cell phone) to be displayed on another end device (e.g., tablet or PC).
Provided that the customer has given Google appropriate consent for this, Google links the web and app browsing history with the customer’s Google account. This allows the same personalized advertising messages to be served on any end device on which the customer logs in with his Google account.
To support this feature, Google Analytics collects authenticated IDs of users, which are temporarily linked to imatrix.ai data to define and create target groups for cross-device ad advertising.
The customer can permanently object to cross-device remarketing by disabling personalized advertising in their Google account. Here is the link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/
The imatrix.ai website also uses the online advertising program Google AdWords. Google Inc., with headquarters at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, is the provider.
Within the scope of Google AdWords, imatrix.ai uses the so-called conversion tracking. When the customer clicks on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is placed for conversion tracking. These small text files are stored by the internet browser on the customer’s computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days at the latest and are not used for identification. If the customer visits our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and imatrix.ai can recognize that the customer clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.
The imatrix.ai only receives from Google the total number of users who clicked on its ad and were redirected to its website, which is tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, the imatrix.ai does not receive any information with which it can personally identify the customers.
The website of imatrix.ai additionally uses the visitor action pixel of Facebook. The provider is Facebook Inc. with headquarters at 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.
The Facebook pixel makes it possible to track the behavior of page visitors after they have been redirected to the imatrix.ai website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.
The data collected is anonymous for imatrix.ai. imatrix.ai cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the customers. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile can be established. Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook data usage policy and enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. imatrix.ai cannot influence the use of the data.
The customer can permanently object to remarketing by deactivating the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” in the ad settings under the following link, provided that the customer is logged into Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen.
If the customer does not have a Facebook account, he can deactivate Facebook’s usage-based advertising on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance at the following link: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/
Integration of third-party offers / social media
The digital offerings of our imatrix.ai are networked with third-party functions and systems in a variety of ways. In particular, we integrate plug-ins of social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. If you as a customer have a user account with these third parties, it is possible that they can also measure and evaluate the use of our digital offers. In the process, further personal data, such as your IP address, browser settings and other parameters, may be transmitted to these third parties and stored there. It is beyond our control what personal data is collected by these third parties and whether they perform anonymization. Therefore, we assume no responsibility or liability for the use of such data by third parties.
YouTube plugins are also integrated on our website. The provider of these plugins is YouTube LLC, headquartered at 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. The YouTube plugin establishes a connection to the YouTube servers. In the process, YouTube is informed which pages of our offer you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account during this time, YouTube can assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. To prevent this, please log out of your YouTube user account.
8. profiling / automated decisions
Profiling refers to the automated process of analyzing or predicting certain personal aspects or behaviors based on personal data. This enables customers to receive more individualized support and advice and offers to be better tailored to their individual needs.
“Automated individual decisions” are decisions that are made completely automatically, without relevant human influence, and that may have negative legal or similarly negative effects on the customer. As a rule, iMATRIX GmbH does not carry out automatic individual decisions. Should imatrix.ai make automatic individual decisions in individual cases, it will inform the customer separately. In such a case, the customer has the option of having this decision manually reviewed by an employee of imatrix.ai.
9. communication by electronic mail (e-mail) and/or newsletter will be reviewed and corrected.
To subscribe to the newsletter offered by imatrix.ai, imatrix.ai needs the customer’s email address and other information enabling it to verify that the email address provided is correct and that the customer has given his consent to receive the newsletter (double opt-in procedure). Through the newsletter, the customer receives regular recommendations and offers that may be of interest to him. For this purpose, personal data relating to the customer’s use of the website, iMATRIX GmbH and the newsletter (e.g. opening the newsletter, clicking on web URL links) is collected and processed. imatrix.ai analyzes this data for statistical purposes in order to better tailor the content of the newsletter to the customer’s interests.
The processing of personal data entered by the customer when subscribing to the newsletter is based on the customer’s consent, which the customer may withdraw at any time for the future. The revocation can be made via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The personal data collected will be used for the content design and dispatch of the newsletter. imatrix.ai will store the personal data provided by the customer for newsletter subscription until the customer unsubscribes from the newsletter.
10. spear duration of personal data
The imatrix.ai stores and processes the personal data collected from the customer for as long as the customer uses the service. It should be noted that the contractual relationship between the iMATRIX GmbH and the customer is long-term. After termination of the contractual relationship, imatrix.ai is generally not obliged to keep the customer’s data. Therefore, data that is no longer required is regularly deleted. However, it may be that certain data continues to be retained due to legal requirements or for internal purposes.
11. links to external websites
The imatrix.ai website contains links to websites operated by third parties over whom imatrix.ai has no control or responsibility. iMATRIX GmbH accepts no responsibility for the content or data protection practices of such websites.

- The right to restrict the processing of the data (based on Art. 18 GDPR) will be reviewed and corrected.
- The right to data portability (based on Art. 20 GDPR) will be reviewed and corrected.
It should be noted that these rights may be subject to restrictions and may be supplemented by national data protection law or other legal provisions.
If the customer is asked for his/her consent in connection with the services of imatrix.ai, he/she may give such consent by ticking the relevant check box. iMATRIX GmbH is entitled to collect, process, use and disclose the customer’s personal data in accordance with the customer’s consent. The customer may revoke his consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the data processing carried out before the revocation. The revocation can be made in writing to the imatrix.ai address given in the imprint. However, it should be noted that in the event of a withdrawal, access to certain services and functions may be restricted.
13. additional provisions for customers from the EU
These provisions apply exclusively to customers from the EU area and do not apply to customers from Switzerland.
Legal bases of data processing
Processing for the aforementioned purposes is carried out on the basis of the GDPR for the performance of the contract. The subject matter of the contract includes the above-mentioned services. Data processing for the protection of the legitimate interests of imatrix.ai is also carried out in accordance with the methods described above for product and service improvement, for monitoring and improving performance, and for the detection, prevention or investigation of unlawful activities. Data processing for the fulfillment of legal obligations (DSGVO) includes in particular the processing of master data. If the customer believes that the aforementioned purposes are not covered by the aforementioned legal bases, he may request that his personal data no longer be processed for certain purposes (opt-out). However, such an opt-out will not affect the Customer’s ability to continue using the imatrix.ai services, unless such use absolutely requires the relevant data to be processed. The customer may send an opt-out request in writing to the imatrix.ai address provided in the document.
14. Safety measures
14.1 iMATRIX GmbH provides for security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized modification of information and personal data.

The content available on this website is for information purposes only and in particular does not constitute legal advice. Any liability for possible damages resulting from the use of the website or the retrievable information is excluded. In particular, we assume no liability for the timeliness, completeness and accuracy of the content.
Right of complaint to a supervisory authority
If the customer believes that his personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR, he has the right to complain to a competent supervisory authority in accordance with Article 77 of the GDPR. iMATRIX GmbH is available to the customer to receive questions and concerns before a complaint.
